"The organic division of sex... There are conflicts to be sure. Male and female lead deifferent lives with different aims. Wilson (1975) describes sex (incorrectly) as a shearing force to be overcome in social evolution. Human bonds, he suggests, are formed between individuals, in spite of sex and not because of it. Wilson finbs that courtship mixes aggression and attraction and that intercourse overcomes antagonism at considerable expense of resources."

Note from Reclaiming Manhood Site: This corroborates many of the things we have been saying. This perfectly explains the mammalian male sexual behaviour, where females and males shun each other unless and until they're in heat. Even then, you can see female running away from a sexually charged male, and male has to use aggression to mate with her. It is also common to see females in heat circling a disinterested male not in heat. Masculinity and feminiity are mutually exclusive and it is only under sexual heat that this 'repulsion' is temporarily attained, usually as soon as sex is over... but often even before the sex process is over.

"But... According to Freud, all social attraction -- all that can be subsumed under the heading of love -- is born of the complementarities of sex. "

Note from Reclaiming Manhood Site: Freud, whose beliefs were influenced by almost two thousand years of Christian influence, is the one primarily responsible for the mess that science is in regarding human, but especially male gender and sexuality.
